Summer Camps 2024 Summer Camp Week 3 (6/17-6/19) - STEAM Makers Camp

This camp is for our TINKERERS!  We will turn the Kindness and Joy Toys Play Lab into a makerspace that will inspire curiosity and creativity in each camper!  We'll spend our first morning together completing LEGO brick challenges and free building with bins and bins of LEGO! After lunch we will start to make plans and designs for our hand-made, working instruments created using upcycled objects.  Tuesday we will finish constructing and painting our instruments and begin our giant mandala art project using upcycled and craft items to create a unique piece of art campers will be proud to hang in their room! We'll finish our mandala and construct some very cool claw "machines" to finish off our week!  This one is not to be missed! 

Age:  Rising 1st graders to rising 6th graders

Time/Day:  Monday thru Wednesday 10:00-2:00

Note, please bring your child a sack lunch.
